Via Nirone 7 - Bianchi road bike in Haxby, North Yorkshire for sale
For sale is my very well cared for pride & joy. It is a custom built Bianchi Via Nirone 7 road race bike. This version/colour of the frame was never available for sale to the public with Shimano a group, it was put together piece by piece by me. With a carbon front fork and rear triangle, mounted to an aluminium hydro-formed middle, you get the best of both the materials properties: A lightweight, all year round bike. It's been upgraded to full Shimano Ultegra groupset including: crank (£200), rear mech (£70), front mech (£40), shifters (£270) & brake callipers (£100), with a Dura Ace cassette (£150) and bottom bracket (£40). It's running on a Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheelset (£390), with Mavic Cosmic skewers (£50), Continental tyres (Ultra Race rear, folding GP Attack front). The cockpit has also been upgraded to a Deda Zero100 stem (£70) with Ritchey WCS bars (£70), with brand new Bontrager cork tape (£15) and colour matched Hüdz grips (£20). The saddle is a San Marco Zoncolan carbon FX (£120) on a carbon Reparto Corse post and pedals are LOOK Keo Easy plus (£50). To finish off it has 2 Elite bottle cages (£30) and a CatEye Strada double wireless, speed and cadence, cycle computer (£100). Down to the way Italian manufacturers measure the bike frame, it is sized as 53cm, and should be thought of as medium rather than small. I am 180cm (5'11") and this fits extremely well, with plenty of room left to alter riding position for taller or shorter riders through stack or saddle height. There are a few small chips (due to normal chain slap Etc, not really visible when riding) and some small wear (e.g. to the control levers from leaning up against walls). Besides that it's never been short of a service or spare part, and been manicured very well since built. It's just been rebuilt & lubed up, runs almost silent & very smoothly. Will also include a spare tyre, 2 bottles, CatEye lights (£50+) and anything else I can find going spare with my road bike clearout. A baby on the way forces a reluctant sale.
